Fortis Group, LLC was founded in 2001 in Louisville, Kentucky by seasoned real estate professionals with expertise in all aspects of commercial real estate services including property management, project leasing, brokerage, development and construction management. The executive leadership team had a combined 56 years of experience with Trammell Crow Company, one of the world’s largest and most successful commercial real estate firms.
 
At its inception in 2001, Fortis Group provided property management, leasing and construction management services for over 2.5 million square feet of office, service center and industrial space in the Louisville area, serving several major national real estate investment companies, including: Crow Holdings Industrial Trust, Archon Group and LaSalle Investment Management. Since then, the portfolio has grown to 3.5 million square feet, including properties owned by ING/Clarion (New York/Dallas), Sun Life Financial (Boston), Arthur Goldner & Associates (Chicago), Rosemont Realty (formerly BGK Group) (Santa Fe) and Delta Dental Insurance Company (Louisville).
 
Fortis Group also has represented some of America’s largest companies for their corporate real estate acquisition and leasing requirements including American Express, Eli Lilly Corp, UnitedHealth Group, Cingular Wireless and Electronic Arts. The assignments have included a wide variety of requirements, spanning all product types, industrial, office and retail, throughout the state of Kentucky and in southern Ohio and Indiana.
